Tasks: совершенствование навыков поискового чтения; активизация лексических навыков, развитие навыков постановки вопросов.

    Ход урока.

  1.   Организационный момент.

Good day, boys and girls!

How are you?

I am glad to hear that you are fine. Today we shall talk about Businessman`s Day. Are you ready to start our work?

  1.  Речевая разминка.

*What jobs do you know?

*Do you want to be a businessman?

*Can you describe this job?

3. Совершенствование навыков поискового чтения.

 Are you interested in new facts on day of a businessman? Let`s read the information in the text. At first we look at the vocabulary, read the words. Read the text then.

Answer the questions.

  3.  Has he got his own family?
  4.  What is his wife`s profession?
  5.  What are the names of his children?
  6.  Where do they live?
  7.  What is John Turner`s profession?

  11.  What does he do during his working day?
  12.  What is Linda Foster?
  13.  What does she do during her working day?
  14.  Where does Linda have lunch?
  15.  What language does she learn?

4.Постановка вопросов.

1.Yes, John Turner has got a family.

2.His family isn`t large. It`s small.

3. Yes, They`ve got two children.

4. Their names are Kate and Peter.

5. His wife is an economist.

6. No, they don`t live in London.

7. Greenwood is a small place not far from London.

8. Linda gets e-mail every day.

9. She usually has lunch at the office.

10. Linda learns French.

5. Переведите на английский язык:

Петров - менеджер. Он работает в торговой фирме. Его фирма продает товары в различные страны. Петров часто встречается с представителями английских и французских фирм. Они обсуждают цены, условия платежа и поставки. Петров начинает свой рабочий день в 9 часов утра. У него всегда много работы: он просматривает почту, читает телеграммы и письма, говорит по телефону с заказчиками. В 11 часов у него обед. После обеда он остается в офисе и обсуждает деловые вопросы с инженерами или директором. Петров заканчивает свой рабочий день в 6 часов. Он обычно приходит домой в 7.

6. Опишите рабочий день вашей мамы.

7. Расспросите своего друга о рабочем дне его мамы.

8. Подводим итоги урока.
