For some people is food is source of plesure for others – source of energy.

What are your food tastes and preferences? Do you eat nutritionally sound food?

Are food is made up of nutrients which our bodies use. There are different kinds of nutrients: fats, proteins, vitamins and minerals. People must to stick to a balanced diet. Eating a balanced diet means choosing a wide variety of foods and drinks from all food groups. It also means eating certain thongs in moderation, namely saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, refined sugar, salt and alcohol. The goal is to take in nutrients you need for health at the recommended levels. The key to a healthy balanced diet is not to ban or omit any foods or food groups but to balance what you eat by consuming a variety of foods from each food group in the right proportions for good health. A balanced diet must contain carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, fiber. It must contain these things in the correct proportions. I usually have 2 meals a day. They are dinner and supper. I never have breakfast. As for me, I prefer fish and other sea products. I like vegetables so much: potatoes, tomatoes, cabbage. I like products where there are a lot of carbohydrates because these provide a source of energy. So in the morning I usually drink a cup of coffee with milk. I don’t like milk, but I like coffee with milk. And it’s not good for our organism, because coffee decrease calcium in our bones. At dinner I have vegetable soup or salad. I sometimes eat meat, for example, chicken or beef. I hate blood-pudding or sausages. I like cooking myself. For some people  is food is a source of pleasure, for others – a source of energy. For me, food is a pleasant source of energy. I like cooking because I know what I eat. I prefer food containing fats. But I never buy fast-food. It’s dangerous. This food can cause disease, for example, food poisoning or disordered stomach. I always drink kefir, juice. Every summer I and my mother grow vegetables and fruit. Then we can drink fresh juice or eat products which preserve their qualities and vitamins. Well, of course, at weekends I want to try a new dish. If I have free time, I try to invent a new salad or find an interesting recipe. It’s better than go shopping ready or semi-manufactured food products because this is unhealthy. It’s better to spend some time cooking than to have problems with heart and overweight.
