Урок 48

Тема: Наука і культура. Дозвілля.

Підтема: Відвідування театру естради.

Мета: Активізувати  в мові учнів вживання ЛО теми «Відвідування театру».

Підготувати учнів до самостійного висловлювання про відвідування театру естради на основі плану.

Практикувати у діалогічному мовленні: конструюванні діалогів за заданою ситуацією та з урахуванням міжрольових взаємодій комунікативних партнерів.

Обладнання: підручник, "Match the words" (HO1), "Useful expressions" (H02), "Make up dialogues" (H03), "Put the events in logical order" (HO4).

І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

Aim 1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Т:  The topic of our lesson is "Going to the Variety Theatre". By the end of the lesson you should be able:

to activize words and word-combinations from the topic: "Going to the theatre";

to talk about your last visit of the Variety Theatre;

to conduct your own dialogues about this topic.

Warm-up 2. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Game show "Blockbusters".

T: Game shows or quiz shows are very popular on television in Britain.

Contestants try to win prizes, such as holidays, money, televisions, cars and so on. The host of the shows are often famous comediants. The most popular show for school students is "Blockbusters".

School students are given a definition of a word and they must say what the word is.

They can win prizes for themselves and for their school.

Let's organize a kind of quiz show "Blockbusters", too.

So, I'll give you a definition of a word and you must say what the word is. О. К.?

What word or phrase is being defined?

A play in which part of the story is sung to music... (musical)

People who watch a play at the theatre... (the audience)

Put the events in logical order and make up a story.

Alexander Ponomaryov took part in the concert.

He sang about our country, its nature, about love and happiness.

We had good seats in the sixth row opposite the stage.

The audience liked all the songs and after each song it broke into applause.

I'd like to go to the concert of this singer again.

I went to the theatre last Sunday.

He was great!

It was very difficult to get tickets for that concert, because Alexander Ponomaryov is a very popular singer.

Т: Imagine that you were at the Variety Theatre last night. Share your impressions with your friends about the performance. Use questions of ex. 9 as a plan.
