Тема урока: «Television. (Телевидение)».

Цель: развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся на базе изученной лексики и грамматического материала по изучаемой теме, расширение общего кругозора; углубление знаний учащихся   о   средствах массовой информации.

Задачи:

Образовательная: активизировать изученную лексику по теме; совершенствовать навыки аудирования с целью получения необходимой информации; совершенствовать навыки коммуникативной компетенции учащихся; развивать умения учащихся выделять главное, логично и последовательно излагать мысли на иностранном языке.

Развивающая: развивать способность анализировать, обобщать и сравнивать; самостоятельно строить речевое высказывание; общаться в диалоге; развивать мышление, зрительную память и воображение.

Воспитательная: показать многообразие средств массовой информации в нашей жизни; научить ориентироваться в них, повышать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.

Материальное обеспечение урока:

- для учителя: доска, учебник, печатные приложения, компьютер, CD – диск.

-для учащихся: учебник, рабочая тетрадь, раздаточный материал (текс, Сборник упражнений Галицынского).

  2.  Which is the most popular of them? Why?
  3.  Do you like watching TV?
  4.  What do you usually watch on TV (the news, films, talk shows, sports programmes, musical programmes or any others)?

Грамматика: Passive voice.

Active Voice — это действительный залог. Действие совершает подлежащее. А Passive Voice — это страдательный залог; действие направлено на подлежащее.

Пример:

She cleans an office every day. — Она убирает офис каждый день.

Действие совершает подлежащее (она) — это действительный залог, потому что подлежащее действует.

The office is cleaned every day. — Офис убирают каждый день.

А здесь действие направлено на подлежащее (офис) — это страдательный залог, потому что не подлежащее действует, а над ним совершают действие. Подлежащему остается только страдать.

Образование Passive Voice

Формы Passive Voice образуется с помощью соответствующей формы глагола to be и третьей формы смыслового глагола.

Ex. 1. Complete these sentences using the verbs in brackets in passive.

  1.  In the 1970s new TV technologies (to develop).
  2.  A lot of programmes (to develop) to politics.

  4.  Television (to use) for many purposes.
  5.  The BBC (to know) as the best non-commercial  television system.

Ex.2 Respond to the situations with a negative sentence using the words and word combinations in brackets.

Example: Cars are made at this factory, (bicycles) — But bicycles are not made at this factory.

  1.  Bread is sold in this shop, (milk)
  2.  My younger sister is usually given fruit and milk for supper, (my elder brother)
  3.  Apples are grown in Belarus, (oranges)
  4.  Glass is made of sand, (paper)
  5.  My dresses are made by my mother, (jackets)
  6.  Films are watched by many people, (sports programmes)
  7.  This apple-tree is planted by me. (that cherry-tree)

Ex. 3 Rewrite the sentences in the passive form if possible. Use the example.

Example: The Celts settled in Wales in 500 BC. – Wales was settled by the Celts in 500 .

  2.  The ancient Greeks built the Acropolis.
  3.  A group of archaeologists found a dinosaur’s skeleton.
  4.  I visited Rome in 2002.

  7.  Lewis Carroll wrote “Alice in Wonderland” in 1865.

Ex. 4 Complete these sentences using the verbs in brackets in Present, Past or Future Simple Passive.
